The Svetlanov hall of MIPAC has 1716 seats and it is designed for both classical and popular (jazz, variety, etc.) concerts. It is paneled with Siberian larch which is considered the best “acoustic” wood. This wooden cover for both walls, floor and a considerable part of the ceiling creates compositional integrity of the hall. The unique «Constellation» acoustic system has been installed in the Svetlanov hall by MEYER SOUND, one of the world leading sound technology companies. The biggest concert organ in Russia was built by the renowned German consortium Glatter Gotz and Klais in 2004.
